Despite living in the same town our whole lives, we first officially met in the United Kingdom, outside Prenika's London flat in 2018.

Prenika will say she doesn't remember but Scott says he remembers vividly meeting Prenika in the park outside her flat.

It wouldn't be until almost a year later we would meet again back home. It takes over a year of convincing Prenika to message Scott. Near the end of 2019 we start talking and go on a holiday in the New Year. In the early stages of the relationship, we were tested by Covid lockdowns and cancelled holiday plans. However we came out the other side and went on many holidays exploring New Zealand together, while the rest of the world was closed off and started saving towards our first home.

After many holidays, finding and buying our first home and moving in, Scott (finally) proposed in July 2023!! We went on our first overseas holiday to Singapore and England, but this time as Fiancé's and visited where we first met. Completing the full circle love story!
